The amalgamation of research and inspiration!

What’s hot right now? Everyone wants to know what’s going on and where things are headed next. And, as the year 2022 approaches, everyone wants to know what the hottest colours are.

Certain colours are expected to be popular this season, according to industry experts. Because of social media and increasing consumption rates, today’s market evolves considerably faster than in the past. Trends can shift almost overnight, and forecasting techniques can assist brands in quickly adapting to these shifts. Trend forecasting also assists fashion firms in aligning their teams by offering a consistent language for creative and analytical tasks.

There really is nothing I am looking forward to in 2022 besides PANTONE colour and my wedding.

Isn’t it past time for a breath of fresh air? Colours that make us feel healthy, tranquil, and centred are expected to dominate the design landscape in 2022, according to industry experts. Interiors are nudged awake by these lucid blues, delicate greens, and grounded earth tones, which point us toward an optimistic horizon.

Last season, it was Neon Pink, and this season, Bubblegum Pink carries the same colour forward in a more subtle way.

Next is the Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2022 is Very Peri. Every year, it’s something that everyone looks forward to. Every industry, from lifestyle to fashion, tries to include this colour.

This colour Butter Cream is a bit more predictable than the others on the list. This colour was inspired by the minimalist Japandi style that was popular last year. (Combination of Japanese and Scandinavian influences.) Which isn’t going anywhere and will be here for a very long time.

Something timeless that has been refreshed over time. Classic Blue, or as the year 2022 will refer to it, Tech Blue.

This colour scheme is reminiscent of the 1990s. Metallic, gleaming, and glistening. We pay homage to classic style with this colour, which has been reintroduced in a fresh way.

As the vivid colours fade, more subdued ones take their place. Burnt Orange has emerged as a beacon of hope for a world in desperate need of it.

Last but not least, Green Quartz, my personal favourite among 2022’s top trending hues. It’s opulent! It’s amusing! It’s bold! Don’tcha think? Green is unlike any other colour, so ditch the LBDs in favour of something a little more exciting.

It was only a touch of tan last season to balance out the vibrant colours. This season, however, we’re going all tan. Monochromatic is the only way to go.

Why am I doing this if I am not an expert? I’m just contributing all my research and thoughts here, just like any other blog, while I was researching it for myself. I’ll also provide links to the blogs that inspired me to write this one.

Human phycology varies as time passes. As a result, the same colours will no longer elicit the same emotions. As a brand, you’ll need to adapt to changes and make sense of these colours over time. Try to figure out what works best for you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. It is really appreciated. If you like it hit that clap and follow for more design & trending content.
