Discover these three books that can have a transformative impact on your life in 2023. The ability to grow, learn, and develop the abilities and attributes required to accomplish personal and professional goals and live a more fulfilling life is made possible by self-improvement.

The Psychology of Money: Timeless lessons on wealth, greed, and happiness by Morgan Housel.

“The Psychology of Money” by Morgan Housel is a thought-provoking and insightful book that reveals timeless lessons about wealth, greed, and happiness. This book explores the psychology of money, luck and risk in investing, as well as self-awareness and discipline in financial decision-making. The book is an excellent resource for anyone seeking to develop a better understanding of their relationship with money and make smarter financial choices.

One of the most important lessons I took away from this book was to invest in myself. Your long-term financial performance and general well-being can be greatly impacted by investing in yourself through education, skill development, and personal growth. Overall, “The Psychology of Money” provides insightful information about how our psychological makeup affects our financial choices and offers helpful guidance on how to accumulate wealth and achieve financial security.

Stumbling on happiness by Daniel Gilbert

The thought-provoking book “Stumbling on Happiness” questions our beliefs about what makes us happy. Daniel Gilbert examines the complexities of human happiness and the ways in which our brains predict and experience it through engrossing storytelling and empirical study. Gilbert contends that we frequently misjudge when assuming what will make us happy and that our capacity to foresee our own pleasure is inadequate.
The book urges readers to consider their beliefs and priorities while highlighting the significance of social relationships and connections for human pleasure. If you’re interested in the research on happiness and well-being, “Stumbling on Happiness” is a must-read.

Even if this might not sway your decision, try not to get confused. This book uses cutting-edge research and (often funny) experiences to show why we’re so lousy at predicting what will make us happy and what we can do about it.

While I was writing this blog post, I recall that there is another blog post that I wrote last year on Books I read before I started my new job. If you are remotely interested in marketing or advertising. You must check out that list of books. I highly recommend it.

The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma by Bessel van der Kolk M.D.

Bessel van der Kolk’s ground-breaking work, “The Body Keeps the Score,” examines the intricate connection between trauma and the body. In order to create effective treatments, Van der Kolk stresses the significance of comprehending how trauma affects the brain, mind, and body. The book emphasises the lasting effects of trauma and the possibility of healing through compelling case studies and academic research.

The author also stresses the necessity of a holistic treatment strategy that includes body-based therapies and mind-body techniques. For those who are interested in trauma, mental health, or the mind-body link, “The Body Keeps the Score” is a must-read.

This reminds me of one of my favourite quotes.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” — Lao Tzu.

If you read one book per month, you will have finished 12 books by the end of the year. If you break a task into smaller components, you will always feel more confident about doing it.

Thank you for taking the time to read the entire article. If you found it valuable, Please feel free to share it with others.

Don’t forget to give it a clap!!!!!
